2020 Rogers Scholar Tiffany Copley, in partnership with Pikeville High School’s Teens Who Care UNITEd, collected pet food and supplies for the Pike County Animal Shelter. Donations for the Rogers Scholars community service project were dropped off at school. “The animal shelter project was a wonderful way I could make a difference in Pike County and be a leader in my school and community,” said Copley, a high school junior. “My project allowed me to see how much I love helping animals and people.” Each graduate of The Center for Rural Development’s Rogers Scholars program is required to complete a community service project.
